Our fall lambs started arriving and WOW! All fall club lambs are sold, so put your orders in early for fall 2008 lambs! We are anxiously awaiting our spring lambs. We have several orders for club lambs, rams and replacement ewes to date, please call early for your 2008 needs!

We had a great couple of days at the Virginia State Fair. Auville 73711 FLASH DRIVE was Champion Suffolk Ram Auville 7369 was Champion Slickshorn Ram and Supreme Champion Ram over all breeds. We thank Steve Myers on his purchase. See pictures on our show page.

We had a super day at the West Virginia State Fair. Auville 7404 was Champion Suffolk Ram, Auville 7398A was Reserve Champion Ram, Auville 6321 was Champion Suffolk ewe, Auville 7491 was Reserve Champion and we were Premiere Breeder in the Suffolk division. See pictures on our show page.

Our club lambs did very well at the Rockingham County Fair. Auville 7472 was Reserve Champion Lightweight division and Auville 7306 was Reserve Champion Heavy Midweight division. See our show page for pictures.

We had a good day at the Augusta County Fair. Auville 7398A was Champion Ram, Auville 6321 was Champion Ewe, Auville 7491 was Reserve Champion Ewe and Auville 7111B was Reserve Champion Commercial Ewe. Check out our show page for pictures.

We held our annual Auville Club Lamb Workshop. Participation was high and a good time was had by all. This year along with showmanship training, participants learned how to keep lambs healthy as well as formulating a good exercise program.

The first lambs have arrived. We have very few fall club lambs and they are all sold. Stay turned for our later club lambs.

The Virginia Bred Ewe held at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds was a big success. Auville 05-925 bred to Slack 5499 "Power Point" and Auville 6374B exposed to Slack 1168I "Megabyte" sold very well.

Robert took our sheep to South Carolina State fair where they also showed very well. Both our rams stood 3rd in their class. Auville 05-353 was 1st place early yearling ewe and Auville 05-025 was 2nd place late yearling ewe and they won the pair class. Auville 6321 was second in her class and our flock was 2nd.

Our sheep did very well under the care of Robert Wolford at the North Carolina State Fair. Auville 6409A was second in his class and Auville 6321 was also second in her class. We came in 2nd in the pair classes as well as the flock classes.

Our sheep did very well at the Virginia State Fair. Auville 63711B was Champion Suffolk Ram. Auville 05-353 was Champion Ewe and Auville 05-025 was Reserve Champion Suffolk Ewe. Our crossbreds did very well as well. Auville 6300A was Reserve Champion Ram and Auville 6306 was Champion Ewe. We were Premier Suffolk Exhibitor.

We had a great day at the Augusta County Fair. Auville 63711B was Champion Ram, Auville 6332 was Reserve Champion Ram, Auville 6306 was Champion Commercial Ewe.

We held our annual Auville Lamb workshop again this year. Youngsters came and learned how to get the most out of showing their lambs. Participants picked out a lamb (giving reasons why they picked that lamb) and then were given showmanship instruction. We then held a "show" and all were given the opportunity to be the judge. All enjoyed the individual instruction and then the lamb barbeque picnic that followed.

Club lambs are sold! We took orders and after getting them filled, the rest went like hot cakes.
