We had a great day at the Virginia State Fair. Auville 1430B was Champion Slickshered Ram, Auville 1992B was Reserve Champion Slicksheared Ewe and we were premier Slicksheared Breeder. Auville 0597B was 1st place commercial yearling ewe.

We had a great day at the West Virginia State Fair. Auville 1430B was Reserve Champion Suffolk Ram, Auville 1600 was Reserve Champion Suffolk Ewe and we were premier Suffolk Breeder.

We had a good day at the Rockingham County fair. Several of our lambs were top in their class in the market lamb show. Auville 1865 was Reserve Champion Suffolk Ram.

We had an awesome day yesterday at our annual Lamb Camp.  Approximately 18 youth participated in the show and over 40 folks were on hand to help and eat a delicious lamb barbeque lunch.  Thanks to all who helped make this day fun and educational.  A special thanks to Amanda See our judge for the day!

Another great day at the Virginia State Fair.  Auville 06311 was Reserve Champion Commercial Ewe and Auville 964811B was Reserve champion Slicksheared ewe.  This year we slicksheared our entire Suffolk show flock and were quite impressed was we saw under that wool.  We might have to rethink that hand trimming thing!

Another great day in Lewisburg, WV at the WV State Fair. We had the reserve Champion Suffolk ram with Auville 0532 and we were Premiere Suffolk Breeder.

We had a great day at the Rockingham County Fair. Auville 07111 was Reserve Champion commercial Ram. Auville 0532 was Reserve Champion Suffolk ram and Auville 0597B was Reserve Champion Suffolk ewe. Our Market lambs also did awesome! Samantha Price had 2 class winners with her 128 pound & 134 pound wethers. Congratulations to Kevin Wanger on his second place lamb!

We are pleased to announce the addition of the Meadows Suffolk Flock. This flock of Kimm bred ewes closely matches our Suffolk program. Ewes are bred to a McLaughlin/Griffin ram which also resides on the Auville farm.

We hosted another very successful lamb workshop this year. We had 15 participants who brought back their lambs (if they still had them & we provided lambs for those that had already shown and sold theirs) and showed them at the first annual Auville Club Lamb Show. A good time was had by all. A huge THANK YOU to Troy Lawson for being our judge for the day, Jim Baxter for bringing his sheep supplies and Troy Grimm for his instruction on club lamb nutrition.

Auville club lambs did very well at Rockingham County Fair. We had over a dozen lambs in the show and all placed within the top three (one was 4th) and we had a division champion! Thanks to those youth who showed our lambs.

We had a great day at our county fair (Augusta). Auville 8348 was Champion Suffolk Ram and Supreme Champion Ram. Auville 8491 was Reserve Champion suffolk Ram and Reserve Supreme Ram. Auville 7491 was Champion Suffolk Ewe and Auville 7532B was Reserve Champion Ewe. OUr commercial ewes also faired well. Auville 7111A & 7111B were 1st & 2nd in their yearling class and Auville 8111B and Auville 8369B were 1st & 2nd in their fall calss and Auville 8550 and 8611 were 2nd & 3rd in their class. We held our annual Auville Club Lamb Workshop. Participation was high and a good time was had by all. This year along with showmanship training, participants learned how to keep lambs healthy as well as formulating a good exercise program.

We conducted our annual Lamb workshop. Many of our kids were on vacation with their family but those that did attend had a FUN time. We went over selecting different types of lambs and how to manage them differently and of course showmanship techniques. Thanks to all to participated.

The Virginia Bred Ewe held at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds was a big success. Auville 05-925 bred to Slack 5499 "Power Point" and Auville 6374B exposed to Slack 1168I "Megabyte" sold very well.

Robert took our sheep to South Carolina State fair where they also showed very well. Both our rams stood 3rd in their class. Auville 05-353 was 1st place early yearling ewe and Auville 05-025 was 2nd place late yearling ewe and they won the pair class. Auville 6321 was second in her class and our flock was 2nd.

Our sheep did very well under the care of Robert Wolford at the North Carolina State Fair. Auville 6409A was second in his class and Auville 6321 was also second in her class. We came in 2nd in the pair classes as well as the flock classes.

We held our annual Auville Lamb workshop again this year. Youngsters came and learned how to get the most out of showing their lambs. Participants picked out a lamb (giving reasons why they picked that lamb) and then were given showmanship instruction. We then held a "show" and all were given the opportunity to be the judge. All enjoyed the individual instruction and then the lamb barbeque picnic that followed.
